SQL Developer – Agile & Cloud Environments

Work Type: Full Time (Scheduled Work From Home Days) Experience Required: 8 years Compensation: USD $100,000 — $110,000 Package Details: No relocation, bonus, or benefits provided Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated SQL Developer with strong technical and analytical skills to support and enhance applications in the wholesale brokerage insurance domain. The role involves managing and supporting SQL database environments, developing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes. The developer will serve as a key point of contact for application development and production support, while also mentoring junior team members and guiding technical direction. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement SQL-based solutions. • Serve as the single point of contact for development and production incident support. • Maintain and enhance existing software applications. • Manage SQL database environments across production, testing, and development. • Analyze technical issues, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies. • Create and maintain technical documentation for users and training. • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and business stakeholders for requirement gathering and delivery. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers. • Work on configuration changes and application enhancements. • Stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices. Must-Have Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • 8 years of professional experience in SQL development. • Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, VBScript, JavaScript. • Expertise in ETL processes, SSIS packages, and workflow automation. • Familiarity with Policy Admin platforms and Specialty Insurance (P&C). • Experience with tools such as Documaker, Rackley, Infomaker, Power Builder, Retool, Go Anywhere, Redgate Tools, Git. • Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban). • Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Service Now, and ITIL processes. • Understanding of web applications, SOA, microservices, containers, APIs, and cloud‑managed databases. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Nice‑to‑Have Skills • Knowledge of Concept One, AIM, Image Right systems. • Cloud experience (Azure, GCP). • Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job
