Job Description Sr. Architect, Sales & Order Services (Remote) Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Senior-Level (12+ years) The Sr. Architect for the Sales & Order Services branch is responsible for driving the technical vision, architecture, and scalability of Myriad's Salesforce ecosystem-spanning Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, and the unified order management landscape. This role will serve as the senior-most technical authority for Salesforce platforms within the Sales & Order Services branch, ensuring high-quality design, integration excellence, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. You will guide development teams, partner with business and technology stakeholders, and own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical solutions that support Myriad's commercial, clinical, and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities Salesforce & Platform Architecture Lead the architecture and evolution of Myriad's Salesforce landscape (Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud), leveraging Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Aura. Define and enforce scalable, future-proof architectural standards across the Sales & Order Services branch. Drive platform optimization, ensuring best practices for performance, maintainability, and security. Unified Order Management & Fulfillment Architect Salesforce-based unified order management capabilities integrating sales, customer lifecycle, case management, and fulfillment. Ensure seamless interoperability between Salesforce Health Cloud and external order management, billing, and logistics systems. Guide the technical roadmap to support more automated, intelligent, and end-to-end order orchestration. Systems Integration Leadership Design and implement complex integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as Jitterbit, MuleSoft, and Informatica. Ensure high performance, reliability, and data integrity across integrated systems, including Snowflake and AWS-based services. Data Governance, Security & Compliance Implement and champion strong data governance, stewardship, and quality standards across Salesforce data assets. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and enforce data security protocols across the Salesforce ecosystem. Partner with auditors and internal controls teams to support ITGC/SOX readiness-owning documentation, remediation, and process maturity for SOX-relevant Salesforce/UOM controls. Technical Leadership & Team Enablement Provide mentorship, architectural guidance, and ongoing direction to developers, admins, and technical leads. Review designs, provide code-level guidance when needed, and elevate the overall engineering maturity of the branch. Promote DevOps best practices, including CI/CD automation using tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Flosum. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with enterprise architecture, product owners, analysts, and business partners to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, well-architected solutions. Bridge the gap between business operations (sales, service, clinical operations, IT) and technical execution. Scalability, Performance & Quality Architect solutions capable of supporting Myriad's growing operational scale and high-volume workflows. Ensure application performance, resiliency, and optimized user experience across all Salesforce instances. Own the full lifecycle of Salesforce programs-from ideation through deployment, release management, and post-implementation support. Required Qualifications Technical Expertise 12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience in enterprise environments. Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, Aura, and Salesforce API integrations. Deep experience with Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Strong understanding of integration protocols, performance tuning, and multi-system orchestration. Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS), Snowflake, and large-scale data integration patterns. Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration, security models, and administrative best practices. Certifications Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer II required. Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA) preferred but not required. Soft Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring developers and guiding technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting healthcare, diagnostics, biotech, or precision medicine environments. Expertise with AI/ML or Einstein Analytics implementations within Salesforce. Experience leading enterprise change management and driving user adoption programs. Advanced experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Workato) and Master Data Management platforms (Reltio preferred).
