Sr Consultant I – Architecture

About the position Responsibilities • Lead architectural discussions and design exercises for data migration. • Analyze system requirements and implement migration methods for existing data. • Develop database migration solutions to ensure effective and secure data storage. • Optimize new and current databases and data pipelines. • Guide clients and project team members as a key point of contact. Requirements • 6+ years proven work experience in data warehousing/BI/analytics. • 3+ years as an Architect. • 3+ years experience working in Cloud platforms. • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in computer science, information systems, Mathematics, MIS or related field. • Understanding of migration, dev/ops, ETL/ELT ingestion pipeline with tools like DataStage, Informatica, Matillion. • Cloud experience on AWS (Azure, GCP are nice to have as well). • SQL scripting is a must. • Project management skills and experience working with Scrum and Agile Development methods. • Ability to develop actionable and measurable insights. • Previous consulting experience managing and supporting large scale technology programs. Nice-to-haves • At least 6-12 months of experience working with Snowflake. • Understanding of Snowflake design patterns and migration architectures. • Understanding of Snowflake roles and user security. • Understanding of Snowflake capabilities like Snowpipe. • Python Scripting is a plus.
