Sr. Frontend Engineer - Web3 games & NFT Startup

Overview Toniq Labs is on a mission to realize the blockchain future of Web3! We especially love the Internet Computer - an ecosystem where we are one of the earliest and fastest growing companies. As a company, we build highly visible products that help creators and developers build, launch, and scale NFT-based games and applications. As a Sr. Front-end Engineer at Toniq Labs, you will be integral in shaping the company and the future of our products. This includes our flagship NFT marketplace, Entrepot, our non-custodial wallet, Stoic, and many other new and innovative products we are launching. You will work directly with our CEO and Chief Product Officer as we build blockchain infrastructure for ourselves and our clients. Ideally you are excited to learn or improve your blockchain programming expertise on the Internet Computer, and have a demonstrable track record of success in delivering features and projects. We look for candidates who have built reliable, scalable, and high-performance web applications using technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience. You will help us find creative solutions to difficult problems that have never been encountered previously. You will have a significant influence on our product strategy, including how we scale our products as the company grows. We are a small, fully-remote team so we prioritize clear communication, a commitment to teamwork, and a high standard of personal accountability. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables • Support and develop contractor software engineers by providing advice and coaching when needed • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • BS Degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 5 years Industry experience • Experience building scalable systems Preferred Qualifications: • Has built large products or applications. • Proficiency in JavaScript • Experience with CSS/HTML/DOM manipulation • Experience building and maintaining UX components and design system • Can easily thrive working in an energizing environment • Bias towards finding solutions vs. shutting down ideas • Detail oriented and organized • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Important Note: These are the attributes we are looking for broadly, but we realize you may not meet every qualification.
