Sr. Partner Solutions Engineer Location: United Kingdom About the team As a Partner Solutions Engineer (PSE) at HashiCorp, an IBM company, you will collaborate closely with our regional partners in a high-performance team to advance our Partner and Partner Services initiatives. You will provide technical expertise in Development Operations, engaging with various technical (development, operations, and security) and executive audiences within IBM’s partner community. As the PSE for the UK/I market, this PSE will work with the Partner Development Manager (PDM), HashiCorp business unit and IBM Sales, and Ecosystem Sales teams to drive overall IBM revenue and related services within our customer base.In the role, you will also actively engage in partner and industry events, allowing you to represent IBM to discuss our offerings. What you’ll do (responsibilities) Lead as a domain expert in hybrid/multi-cloud solutions for the partner sales team and as technical lead on strategic client relationships in the partner space. Participate in public industry events promoting the SI (System Integrator) Partner relationship and technical integrations. Lead technical enablement and co-selling strategies with Cloud Service Provider (CSP) partners to create a force-multiplying effect for the Sales teams. Work closely with partners to identify business opportunities within their client base. Responsible for developing and delivering training plans for the SI partner community. Including enablement, technical discovery, value proposition articulation, and architectural guidance. Provide expert guidance on operational excellence, leveraging strong skills in infrastructure architecture, cloud technologies, IT operations, security, and development processes. Work closely within the partner ecosystem to integrate the HashiCorp product stack into their products and services solutions. Actively assist the partner ecosystem with building their Services Practice, involving HashiCorp products and solutions in the Partners' go-to-market strategy. Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio and the competitive landscape. Help foster an environment for ongoing strategic partner success by actively participating in Sales team meetings. What you’ll need (minimum qualifications) 5+ years in technical pre-sales, Sales Engineering, or similar roles. Practitioners with experience with System Integrators (SIs) are also welcome. Written and verbal fluency in English. Experience with HashiCorp, CSPs, and Data Center technology partners. Understanding of the SI community in the UK/I Proficiency in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms. Experience with large enterprise solutions and cloud-based services. Ability to guide partners in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT operations, security, and development. Comfortable developing services and solutions with third-party partners Ability to work in a highly dynamic team environment focused on superior customer service. Ability to translate complex challenges and solutions into easily digestible information, enabling partners to communicate the correct message to their customers effectively. Ability to travel as needed, with domestic and occasional international travel required. What's nice to have (preferred qualifications) Knowledge of HashiCorp Tools: Knowledge of, and experience with, any of the tools in the HashiCorp portfolio. Technical Certifications: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps) are a plus.
