Position Summary... What you'll do... As a member of Sam's Club “Innovation & Gen AI” team, we are focused on developing groundbreaking new features that allow our customers and members to effortlessly shop at Sam's Club while finding efficiencies for our associates (home office and in-field). This team also contributes to the creation of frameworks and applications for both Associates and Members. Positioned within the Innovation & Gen AI organization, our team is dedicated to crafting state-of-the-art technology experiences both in-house and in cooperation with strategic partners. What you'll do... • Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide. • Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community. • Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products. • Writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; collaborating with the project team and cross-functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on- time delivery and hand-offs. • Seek ways to improve software and its effectiveness. What you'll bring: 6+ years of experience in design and development of consumer-faced software. Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns. • Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. • Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Good problem-solving attitude and analytical skills • Ability to balance the long-term "big picture" and short-term implications. • of design decisions. • Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies • Advanced Java & Python development experience with building highly scalable applications • Proficiency in Azure & GCP • Familiarity with NLP techniques and related algorithms • Generative AI applications/development experience Nice to have: · Experience with Agentic AI frameworks & systems Please note- “Immigration sponsorship is not available in this role”. The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
