About the Role We're seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead our Mobile & Web Application Framework Team in developing innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch products and services. This is a remote opportunity with an immediate start, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a meaningful impact on our organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software applications across multiple platforms, including mobile and web. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, helping them grow professionally and realize their full potential. Collaborate with product managers, customers, and other engineering teams to identify complex problems and develop innovative solutions. Design, develop, and implement enterprise-class business applications using a microservices architecture and extensible REST APIs. Own the complete solution across its entire lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, usability, and performance. Participate in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. Mentor junior team members and share best practices to improve processes within and across teams. Utilize a range of programming languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java, C#, Dart, Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Leverage Container Orchestration services, including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will have: Fluency and specialization in at least two modern languages, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JSX, Swift, Kotlin, Dart, Java, C++, Python, or C#. Experience building products using a microservices architecture and extensible REST APIs. Strong knowledge of DevOps concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework. Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code. Fluency in PowerShell scripting and experience with existing Operational Portals, such as Azure Portal. Knowledge of application monitoring tools and performance assessments, including Splunk or Application Insights. Experience with Datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform and its native services. Understanding of security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience with Gradle and Application Frameworks. Familiarity with XCode, Android Studio, VS Code, or a similar IDE. Knowledge of Risk assessment and Genesis. In-depth understanding of CS data structures and algorithms. Experience with developer tooling across the software development lifecycle.
