For more information, visit As our Staff/Principal Technical Recruiter, you’ll scale Orum’s engineering and product team and define what great hiring looks like. In your first 90 days, you’ll partner closely with our CTO and leadership team to double the size of the engineering team, while building the foundational hiring processes, sourcing strategies, and reporting rhythms that enable sustainable growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a strategic recruiter who can drive results fast while elevating quality and experience. What you’ll do: • Own full-cycle recruiting for all EPD roles - sourcing, managing, and closing candidates end-to-end. • Partner with technical leaders to define hiring needs, build recruiting plans, and drive accountability. • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent globally. • Build scalable recruiting foundations - including process improvements, reporting, and interview calibration. • Deliver a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience that reflects Orum’s mission and values. • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on market trends, hiring velocity, and talent strategy. What we’re looking for: • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a deep focus on technical and engineering hiring. • Proven ability to scale teams quickly in high-growth or startup environments. • Strong business acumen and confidence partnering with senior leadership. • Data-driven approach to hiring strategy, metrics, and pipeline management. • Exceptional relationship builder - with both candidates and hiring teams. Bonus if you have: • Experience hiring in AI, SaaS, or startup environments. • Proven ability to stand up recruiting infrastructure, tools, and process from zero to one. • Familiarity with Ashby and sourcing automation platforms. Orum takes a market-based approach to compensation, offering equity and a base salary as part of the compensation package. The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year. Exact compensation may differ from this range and depends on the candidate’s experience, domain expertise, and interview performance.
