About The Role We seek a dynamic and experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead our Outbound Engineering team, driving the design, development, and implementation of software solutions for complex integrations with robotics and machinery. What You Bring To The Role Minimum Requirements: • At least 8 years of software development experience. • Proven experience with the development, scaling, and maintenance of distributed systems. • Proven experience with warehouse automation or fulfillment operations machinery integration. • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architectural design, and agile development methodologies. • Practical communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely Preferred Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in Ruby or Elixir • Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently on complex issues • Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers. • Familiarity with AWS • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio. The expected salary range for this role is $172,460.00-$215,575.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
