Strategic Planning Manager (contract)

Job ID: JP00046317 Anticipated Start Date: February 9, 2026 Responsible for overseeing corporate planning processes. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Ensures that business and other staff unit plans are aligned and focused in corporate objectives. • Works with VP to ensure that appropriate analysis research and support are provided to various units within the company to produce a Board approved operational and strategic plan. • Develops and collects environmental issues and analysis. Requirements: • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Job Type: Contract Additional Details: • Work Hours Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) Central Standard Time • Primarily work from home; will be expected to come onsite for onboarding, training, or as otherwise required by Managers Preferred Critical Skills: • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences. • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PPT, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, email, ext.) • Excellent multi-tasking skills Other • Experience supporting an Executive leader, standing in at virtual meetings and writing correspondence as needed • Deep relationships across the Elevance Health Ecosystem as it relates to the health plan business • Proven experience in strategic planning, business change management, and executive support. • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. • Proficiency in managing budgets, financial decisions, and staffing plans. Pay Rate Range 31.05 - 67.58 USD hourly Additional Notes Compensation is discussed with BCForward, the employer, upon a job offer.
