Structural Engineering Designer/EIT

They are seeking a Structural Engineering Designer/EIT to work within the Structural Group on the design of transportation infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Working within the (Structural) Design group on the design of bridges, retaining walls, an other transportation infrastructure Preparation of reports, construction plans, and technical specifications Collaborating with design teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers, technicians and planners Working under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member and assist with tasks including preparing engineering related calculations, drawings, and visual aids Following corporate quality procedures Skills Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Midas, STAAD, RISA3D, and SAP2000) Relevant internship or professional work experience in support of transportation design Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities and interpersonal skills Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing, Microsoft Project, and standard office software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life AD&D Disability benefits Paid time off Leaves of absences Voluntary benefits Perks Flexible work options Well-being resources Employee assistance program Business travel insurance Service recognition awards Retirement savings plan Employee stock purchase plan Company Overview AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets.
