The Digital Marketing Intern position resides in the Marketing department at CableLabs. This department drives awareness of CableLabs work and strengthens engagement across key audiences through digital content, campaigns and performance measurement. Our team plays a crucial role in planning and delivering digital marketing initiatives that align internal stakeholders, strengthen external communication and support key business objectives. Why This Internship Is Exciting You will gain hands-on experience creating and publishing digital marketing content across key channels while learning how campaigns are planned, executed and measured in a professional environment. You will develop practical skills in performance reporting and presentation design by using real marketing metrics and brand-aligned storytelling to support CableLabs communications. What You’ll Do: • Schedule and publish content in digital platforms (e.g., social media management tools, email marketing tools) according to campaign timelines. • Track and report campaign performance bi-weekly using analytics tools by monitoring metrics such as engagement, click-through rates and audience growth. • Support Marketing team to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives • Create engaging and compelling social media posts across platforms including Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Instagram • Design and format PowerPoint presentations by applying brand-aligned layouts, editing visuals and organizing content for internal and external audiences. • Design visually appealing graphics, images, and visuals that align with the brand's visual identity • Craft content that resonates with our target audience, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone • Monitor and analyze social media and other marketing metrics using HubSpot’s analytics tools to track the success of posts and campaigns • Use data-driven insights to optimize content and adjust strategies for maximum engagement and reach What Is a Must Have • Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field • Communicates clearly in written and verbal formats • The motivation and drive to work independently in a remote environment • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment What Will Set You Apart • Uses attention to detail when reviewing content, links and formatting • Experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva and social media management tools • Ability to interpret performance metrics and recommend content improvements based on results Working conditions and physical requirements This position is performed primarily in a remote (home-based) work environment. The employee is expected to maintain a quiet, professional workspace that supports productivity and confidentiality. Work is generally performed during standard business hours, though occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support business needs. The role involves frequent communication via email, telephone, video conferencing, and messaging platforms. The employee must have reliable internet access and the ability to work independently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse to complete tasks. The role requires frequent hand and finger dexterity for typing and operating office equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret information on a computer screen.
