Responsibilities • Interface with Global Supply Chain Planning on one or more drug substance/product planning networks. • Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate implications of changes to the production plan. • Represent Supply Chain on site project teams/new product introduction (NPI) project teams. • Develop and implement production planning tools, solutions, and methodologies to ensure successful execution of the supply plan, management of inventory, and scrap per corporate and site targets. • Create and maintain accurate information on the Bill of Materials (BOM). • Prepare and communicate regular updates to key partners including senior management. • Support the Supply Chain business process by finding opportunities and providing key potential solutions that will provide automation, analytics, and insights to support strategic decision making. • Thoroughly understand the various manufacturing process requirements to translate the production plan into a concrete supply plan within SAP or other ERP systems. • Lead and partner to resolve planning conflicts impacting ANC operations on a day-to-day basis. • Continuously drive improvement in the Supply Chain process by defining strategies and translating them into actionable objectives. • Generate, review, and update existing procedures (SOPs/policies), own Trackwise records (Change Control, CAPA). • Develop and maintain key metrics to show health of the Planning organization. Requirements • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience within a cGMP regulated industry experience OR Associate's degree and 8 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience within a cGMP regulated industry OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience within a cGMP regulated industry OR Master's degree and 2 years of supply chain or manufacturing experience within a cGMP regulated industry experience OR Doctorate degree. Nice-to-haves • MBA or other Supply Chain, Science or Engineering Master's degrees. • 2+ years of experience with widely used planning and analytics applications such as SAP and Rapid Response. • Demonstrated understanding of life sciences industry, and drug development and commercialization. • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes. • Quick process understanding, insight, and visualizing. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Self-starter with high attention to detail, able to work on assigned tasks independently, able to identify and initiate discussions about opportunities for process improvement. • Ability to thoughtfully and optimally influence and negotiate to resolve issues and gain consensus. • Strong continuous improvement approach and lean practice experience. • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Miro, and ability to work easily with new software.
