Data Analyst – Sustainability & Packaging Dashboards Location: United States, Flexible (Strong Preference for Pacific Time Zone) Duration: 6 month Contract with potential for extension Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Data Analyst with expertise in dashboard development and data analytics to support a global sustainable packaging strategy. This role will focus on building large-scale dashboards from scratch to consolidate and visualize packaging and sustainability data for leadership, enabling data-driven decisions and strategic improvements. Key Responsibilities • Design and build dashboards from the ground up, creating a single source of truth for packaging and sustainability metrics. • Consolidate large, complex datasets across multiple business units and align schemas for accurate reporting. • Apply machine learning techniques to identify patterns, extrapolate trends, and develop predictive insights from sustainability and packaging data. • Transform raw data into digestible, actionable insights for senior leadership. • Collaborate with internal BI resources and technical partners to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy. • Lead the development and launch of a comprehensive dashboard tool, managing the entire lifecycle from concept to deployment. • Engage with stakeholders across multiple business units to understand needs and ensure dashboard usability. • Provide recommendations for ideal data structures and visualization standards. Required Qualifications • Proven experience in data analytics, dashboard creation, and data visualization (QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau experience required) • Strong background in machine learning and handling large datasets for pattern recognition and predictive modeling. (SQL experience preferred) • Familiarity with ESG, sustainability, or packaging-related data. • Ability to work independently and deliver clear, measurable outcomes under tight timelines. • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications • Experience leading complex tool development projects from inception to launch. • Knowledge of sustainable packaging strategies and related industry standards. • Comfort working across multiple business units and consolidating disparate data sources.
