Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Strategy & Advisory Consultant to join our team at H William Odyssey. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand identity and strategic direction of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sustainability and ESG market trends, consumer behavior, and brand positioning, with a particular emphasis on integrating advanced concepts. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical thinking to drive impactful branding initiatives. As a consultant with H William Odyssey, you will be responsible for the entire client experience end-to-end — from identifying and acquiring new clients, to managing engagements, to delivering measurable outcomes. This role is designed for entrepreneurial professionals who want to build and own their pipeline while providing high-value consulting services. Pay is directly tied to the revenue you generate, with earning potential up to $10,000 per month. Responsibilities Sector-Specific Strategy & Advisory • Develop sustainability and ESG strategies that align with client goals, climate commitments, and regulatory requirements. • Conduct research into renewable energy, carbon accounting, and ESG best practices. • Advise clients on reporting frameworks, investor expectations, and competitive positioning. • Stay updated on emerging sustainability technologies, green finance, and evolving ESG standards. Client Engagement & Collaboration • Lead discovery conversations to identify client sustainability and compliance challenges. • Collaborate with leadership teams to design actionable roadmaps. • Develop and present proposals, negotiate agreements, and manage engagements to completion. • Build strong client relationships focused on measurable impact. Pipeline & CRM Discipline • Maintain accurate updates in H William Odyssey’s CRM with contacts, meeting notes, and opportunity stages. • Document each client’s position in the sales journey: Prospect → Discovery → Proposal → Negotiation → Closed (Won/Lost). • Log all activities for transparency and accountability. • Provide weekly pipeline updates during 1:1s with the Senior Business Director. Performance & Accountability • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability and ESG initiatives, adjusting as needed. • Uphold H William Odyssey’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and client service. • Share insights across the firm to identify cross-sector opportunities. Qualifications • 5+ years of consulting or sustainability/ESG leadership experience. • Demonstrated ability to design or implement sustainability or ESG initiatives. • Strong understanding of reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD). • Excellent communication, analytical, and advisory skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently. Preferred Qualifications • 7+ years of sustainability consulting, ESG reporting, or corporate responsibility leadership. • Familiarity with carbon accounting, renewable energy projects, or sustainable finance. • Experience advising executives on ESG strategy and disclosure. • Track record of helping organizations achieve measurable sustainability outcomes.
