Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: The SVP, Digital Finance – Amazon will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to our Amazon portfolio. The role reports directly to CFO of the Digital platform and will support the General Manager of Amazon. This role will play a key leadership role in supporting growth initiatives, evaluating investment decisions, and influencing strategy to ensure business profitability. This role will have significant cross-functional interaction with the Synchrony Amazon Leadership team including operating committee meetings and direct engagement with our partner. Essential Responsibilities: • Leverage and lead finance COE employees dedicated to financial support and analysis of the Amazon portfolio • Support the General Manager and cross-functional team in delivering financial commitments • Understand key contractual requirements and ensure that we are delivering on those obligations • Provide financial leadership including ensuring the development of key processes and financial analytics over the portfolio • Analyze key trends and indicators of performance for the consolidated portfolio • Key cross-functional leadership team member working to support cross-platform initiatives • Financial leader in strategic operating committee meetings with the client Amazon; engaging in financial discussions with Amazon • Support growth initiatives, evaluate investment decisions and influence strategy to ensure business profitability • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and minimum 8 years of FP&A experience or in lieu of degree, 12 years of equivalent experience. • Minimum 2 years experience in client relationship capacity. • Experience in financial modeling and use of Oracle / Hyperion Systems and databases • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required Desired Characteristics: • Strong process and analytical skills • Experience in collaboration on cross-functional teams and leading projects/initiatives • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally, adapt to a small environment • Proven leadership experience and ability to direct a team • Strong external customer experience and ability to interact with Amazon contacts Grade/Level: 15 The salary range for this position is 200,000.00 - 330,000.00 USD Annual. This position is also eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan target of 25% of salary and an Annual Equity target of 25% of salary. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. Eligibility Requirements: • You must be 18 years or older • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
