About this Position This role will support work primarily in the Corporate portfolio, which includes Human Resources, Compliance, Regulatory, and Legal. The role reports to a Program Manager, and this role is responsible for all phases of project work, including change management best practices. Role Summary Accountable for successful execution of one or more moderately sized projects of medium complexity or lead a project within a larger program. Effectively partners with project or workstream sponsors, stakeholders, and management to ensure the strategic goals and objectives of the project(s) are met and deliver the desired business value. Serves as the end-to-end project lead for moderately sized projects. Engages other colleagues/resources and assigns appropriate tasks to support achievement of project plan. Applies knowledge of an array of methodologies to conduct analyses, reporting, and related activities in support of assigned projects with minimal guidance. Conducts issue/risk tracking, creation of work breakdown structures, scheduling, effort estimation and tracking, and other project documentation preparation. Evaluates escalated issues and/or deviations from plan and takes corrective action to address or realign plans. Manages the overall scope and timing of the project, ensuring business value is delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Serves as the end-to-end project lead for moderately sized projects, with oversight for the full project life cycle. May also serve as a workstream lead for a larger project. Builds and maintains highly detailed project plans, budgeting models, or resource plans, often requiring evaluation and synthesis of multiple sources of information. Develops statements of work, stakeholder management plans, guiding principles, project goals, risks, resource allocation, and roles and responsibilities for assigned projects. Influences vendor, key stakeholders, and project team to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Effectively identifies, anticipates, and mitigates major risks across the project life cycle. Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress, risks, issues, and accomplishments. Seeks guidance from project leadership on approaches to address risks and issues. Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. Facilitates all operational checkpoints. May support the development of new tools and serve as a resource to enable the enterprise to serve as successful project managers. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Evaluates project/program costs and benefits, including actual results and forecasts with comparisons to original or baseline plan; updates plans as necessary. Monitors project results/performance for significant deviations and seeks guidance on corrective actions; implements selected actions.
