TEAM COACH / SCRUM MASTER

About the position DCS is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Team Coach to join its teams developing the next generation of mission planning software supporting Naval aviation. Take pride in supporting a program that helps protect American aviators. Help us develop solutions that enable aircrew to successfully complete their mission and safely return home. This position can be performed 100% remote within the United States (Eastern Standard time zone). Responsibilities • Support a team contributing to a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). • Coordinate cadence-based events to sync efforts and hold retrospectives for continuous improvement. • Engage with Agile Release Train (ART) leadership and contract management personnel to promote transparency and rapidly resolve impediments to achieve PI objectives. • Support the product owner and share responsibility for ensuring PI objectives are achieved. • Gain domain knowledge and contribute to internal training resources. • Work with the team to improve efficiency and instill a development mindset that focuses on value added to an end user. • Support the development/review of product documentation, user training materials, and team meeting materials as needed. Requirements • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements. • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience or Master's degree plus 3 years of related experience. • Active Security Clearance; Ability to maintain Secret Clearance. • Knowledge of SAFe® principles, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Ability to work with a geographically distributed team. • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. • SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master Certification. Nice-to-haves • Experienced with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence). • Military Aviation Experience preferred. • Knowledge and understanding of mission planning needs of military aviators.
