The Cyber Technical Advisory role involves supporting clients in transforming their management of cyber and technology risks, helping to design strategies, implement security solutions, and analyze technology risk data. Responsibilities Support strategy and transformation projects – Help design and roll out cyber and technology strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives that enable clients’ digital transformation and business objectives Build the case for change – Work with the team to analyze client challenges, quantify benefits and costs, and develop business cases and recommendations for new cyber and technology projects Design tailored security solutions – Guide clients in evaluating security tools and selecting the best fit, leveraging Deloitte’s global expertise to design and seamlessly implement the solution within their environment Turn data into insight – Use tools and dashboards to analyze technology and cyber risk data and help produce clear, concise reporting for executives and boards Bridge business and technology – Breakdown complex technical concepts and explain them in a simple, business-focused way for non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with clients to co-create and co-solve problems – Lead and participate in workshops, interviews, and working session with clients and Deloitte teams to understand problem statements and co-create practical solutions Stay on top of what’s trending – Research industry trends, threats, regulations, and leading practices using access to the Deloitte global network to bring “what good looks like” to our clients Improve how we work at Deloitte – Contribute ideas to enhance Deloitte methodologies, tools, and accelerators, including how we can use emerging technologies like AI and automation Learn a lot, fast – Grow your skills through client work, coaching, networking, and training Skills Have completed or are currently working towards completing a post-secondary degree or diploma program, pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science or another relevant degree Are graduating by September 2026 Have a strong interest in how organizations safeguard their systems, data, and customers Actively keep up with emerging trends in areas such as cloud technologies, AI, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity threats, and security frameworks Have a foundational understanding of concepts related to identity and access management, vulnerability management, networking protocols, network or end-point security, security hardening, and/or incident response lifecycle Are familiar with common enterprise technologies, such as Active Directory, SQL databases, and web servers Enjoy working in teams, facilitating discussions, and co-creating practical solutions with others Display initiative, creativity, enjoy problem solving and are looking to make an impact Can demonstrate strong technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project) and interested in using dashboards and tools to turn risk data into clear insights Are legally eligible to work in Canada and able to enter the USA to work on client assignments Curiosity – You are eager to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and are always connecting the dots Analytical Thinking – You can dissect problems to uncover insights with strong attention to detail Teamwork – You work collaboratively with others to deliver on team goals and client outcomes Adaptability – You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot with rapidly evolving demands Leadership – You proactively anticipate needs and take initiative and ownership to drive results Communication – You organize your thoughts/ideas effectively through written and verbal means Benefits $4,000 per year for mental health support benefits $1,300 flexible benefit spending account 35+ days off (including 6 firm‐wide closures known as “Deloitte Days”) Flexible work arrangements Hybrid work structure Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
