We recently closed $9M in Series B financing and are growing our team to continue to scale with the rapid customer growth. OVERVIEW: As a growing start-up, we are excited to expand our team with a Technical Recruiter/HR Generalist. This is an opportunity for an ambitious, multi-faceted individual to lead and shape company culture, including hiring, onboarding, and our overall talent experience. CRIO is a remote-first company with an opt-in office in Boston. This role is open to a remote employee outside of the Boston location. Reporting directly to the Director of People, the Technical Recruiter/HR Generalist will work to identify talent alignment opportunities through a strong recruitment strategy. This leader will be encouraged to think outside of the box and develop a unique approach in positioning CRIO to be a top employer of choice for technical talent. Outside of high-volume recruitment seasons, this person will touch additional areas of People Programs including onboarding, learning and development and employee engagement. The role will have a significant impact in the end-to-end experience of team members, from the first point of contact and beyond. Big picture, visionary thinking is a must. The Technical Recruiter/HR Generalist will also own CRIO’s newest professional development program of recent college graduates. This person will help to carve out the framework for a one-year rotational program for each cohort. A desire to be hands-on as well as leading through collaboration and influence will be important. CRIO currently utilizes Workable for its Applicant Tracking System, Lattice for Performance Management, and Rippling’s PEO and IT management services for maximal efficiency. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THE ROLE: • Drive a strong recruitment strategy and identify unique opportunities to connect with prospective technical candidates. • Partner with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process, handling initial video screening calls and scheduling interviews for any additional round(s). • Conduct interviews with the intention of measuring culture-fit and retention potential, not solely hard skills. • Represent CRIO at various virtual career fairs and consistently keep the pulse on new ways to connect with prospective technical talent. • Own partnership with Handshake to recruit college graduates for the Professional Development Program. • Consistently develop creative ways to help CRIO gain a competitive advantage in the talent market as a top employer of choice. • Collaborate with Marketing team to develop and publicize our talent story. • Spearhead process improvement throughout the onboarding journey, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. • Lead the Professional Development Program from inception to completion annually. Requirements SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: • 2 years+ experience working in People Programs roles, with an emphasis on recruitment & onboarding of technical talent. Ideally, you will have worked for a technology company with various levels of Software Engineers. • An instinctive bias toward action. • A track record of owning and executing on projects. • The ability to easily engage and connect with a wide range of people. • Exceptional at jumping between strategy and execution. • Experience in a start-up environment is a bonus.
