About the Role: Shaping the Future of Digital Collaboration Reporting to the Information Technology VP, the IT Director will be responsible for spearheading the engineering and architectural strategy for collaboration and communication tools within our digital office ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Leading the Charge in Digital Transformation Design, implement, and maintain a robust infrastructure for seamless digital collaboration and communication across the organization, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and a superior user experience. Evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance collaboration and productivity, staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving landscape of digital tools. Oversee the development and deployment of collaborative platforms, including email systems, video conferencing, instant messaging, and document sharing solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives and user needs, driving strategic outcomes and fostering a culture of innovation. Define and enforce best practices, standards, and policies for the secure and effective use of collaboration tools, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk. Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in collaboration and communication tools, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement. Develop and manage budgets, resource allocations, and vendor relationships related to collaboration and communication technologies, ensuring strategic investments and optimal ROI. Collaborate with business-unit management, IT Department, and outside consultants to assess feasibility, determine costs versus benefits, prioritize projects, and develop and implement systems plans that meet our strategic objectives. Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you'll need: A BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT and business acumen. Fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and stakeholders. Previous experience in information systems, including management, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation and innovation. Technical expertise with Microsoft collaboration & productivity tools (365), and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. Expert functional, technical, and people management skills, with a strong ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams. A mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions, with a complete understanding of the IT function and its strategic impact across the organization. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, and legal reports, and to make informed decisions based on data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present information to management, public groups, and customers.
