Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Provides guidance for the individual transplant program as well as oversight of clinical care. Coordinates the care of patients who are undergoing solid organ transplant on an inpatient and outpatient basis. On call for patient issues and donor coordination as scheduled. Functions as a resource for patients and staff about the transplantation process. Maintains communication with referring physicians pre and post-transplant. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5+ years inpatient or outpatient pediatric experience and 2+ years solid organ transplant coordinator experience required. Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Current CA RN license, BCLS, PALS, CCTC. Pay Scale Information $122,595.00-$201,406.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
