Job Summary As a Part Time Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy in financial transactions. Key Responsibilities • Monitor cash float and perform audits to ensure accuracy. • Masterfully manage the payment needs of customers while processing and recording payments through point-of-sale technology, cash recording, gift certificate and card tracking, and credit and debit card processing. • Confirm that guests are satisfied with their experience and make every effort to address any issues they may have, seeking assistance from a supervisor if needed. • Express gratitude for the guests' presence and hope that they consider dining with us again in the future. • We strive to promptly and effectively address our guests' inquiries and fulfill their requests, while also ensuring we maintain a welcoming and hospitable demeanor. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, or a related field is preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy. • Basic computer skills and proficiency in point-of-sale technology. Preferred Qualifications • Hospitality industry experience. • Basic knowledge of accounting and cash handling procedures. • Experience with gift certificates, credit card processing, and other payment methods. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
