Valuations Specialist
About the position Wells Fargo is seeking a Valuations Specialist within the Global Operations team. In this role, you will participate in low to moderately complex residential and commercial valuation initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities. You will perform basic valuation management reviews, valuations, inspections, quality oversights, and consult on low-to-medium risk level issues and deliverables. Additionally, you will review, analyze, or prepare basic valuation reports to ensure appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory, and bank policy. You will present recommendations for resolving situations with low to moderate complexity and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, processes, and compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with collateral examiners, peers, internal partners, and managers will be essential, as well as managing business relationships. Responsibilities • Participate in low to moderately complex residential and commercial valuation initiatives. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within scope of responsibilities. • Perform basic valuation management reviews, valuations, inspections, and quality oversights. • Consult on low-to-medium risk level issues and deliverables. • Review, analyze, or prepare basic valuation reports to ensure appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory, and bank policy. • Present recommendations for resolving situations with low to moderate complexity. • Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, processes, and compliance requirements. • Provide information, collaborate, and consult with collateral examiners, peers, internal partners, and managers. • Interact and manage business relationships. Requirements • 2+ years of Valuations, Lending, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
