Learn more about us on our website, YouTube channel About the Role We're seeking a part-time video editor and content creator for our 450k-subscriber YouTube channel focused on tech professionals. Your video work will include mock interviews, scripted guides, and podcast-style conversations featuring senior-level candidates and industry leaders. Our content includes talking-head videos, Riverside conversations, presentation decks, and animated technical diagrams designed for software engineers and technical audiences. Key Responsibilities • Fast Turnaround Editing: Transform raw footage into finished clips within one week of filming • Project Management: Maintain production board in Notion to track content status and timelines • Footage Workflow: Manage complete editing pipeline from raw file intake to final delivery • Storytelling: Identify key moments and create clear narrative arcs across clips • Quality Assurance: Flag production issues (audio, lighting, video) for future improvement • Product Integration: Naturally incorporate Exponent product mentions and cross-promotional content Role Requirements • Audience: Understanding of software engineers and technical audiences • Tech Editing: High-quality video editing skills with experience in tech/educational content • Organization: Strong project management and workflow management abilities • Experience: Prior work with similar companies (Masterclass, Coursera, Udacity, Pluralsight) Bonus • Short-Form Content: Create engaging 30-60 second TikToks and YouTube Shorts that capture the most relevant moments for technical audiences Compensation $35-50/hr up to 15 hours per week.
