Key Responsibilities Design innovative solutions for client applications, including the preparation of network topologies and technical specifications. Prepare and submit client network solution designs and forecast project cost elements to support the sales cycle. Partner with sales teams to develop solution pricing and submit IRR (Internal Rate of Return) analyses. Review proposal solutions and create technical presentations to explain product benefits and value propositions to clients. Support the integration and implementation of solutions by answering technical questions and providing sales support. Conduct client site surveys to distribute post-sale documentation and ensure a smooth onboarding process. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A minimum of three years of telecommunications sales engineering experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering technical solutions. Cisco certification, such as CCDA, CCNA, or CCNP, demonstrating your technical expertise in networking and telecommunications. Technical skills, including: Understanding of DPL, EVPL, ELAN, LAN, and WAN technologies. Familiarity with fundamentals related to routers, switches, MAN DS3, OC-x, CSU, DSU, and other CPE (Customer Premises Equipment). Knowledge of DNS, TCP, IP, VPNs, and data security methods. Experience with voice networking, MPLS, VPLS, VoIP, SONET, and DWDM. Expertise in routing protocols and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent presentation and English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to clients. Proven ability to conduct consultative analyses and provide recommendations that meet client needs. Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities, with a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles.
