Volunteer: Fundraising event plan

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. A concise, easy-to-follow fundraising event plan that includes clear objectives, a simple timeline, a basic budget outline, a sponsor package/template, an outreach and promotion checklist, volunteer role descriptions, and a streamlined day-of run sheet. Specific dates, venue, audience, and budget details will be defined with volunteers. This event will raise funds and awareness to expand Time-In Moms’ ability to deliver free 90-minute in-home services—light cleaning, childcare, and meal prep—so more moms can reclaim time. Volunteers will help design an approachable event that directly increases our capacity to support mothers and strengthen our community. We will provide volunteers with mission materials, contact lists, decision-maker availability, and any existing outreach assets. Our team will give timely feedback, prioritize implementation of the plan, and work with volunteers to confirm dates, venue, and sponsor prospects during kickoff so the project stays focused and actionable.
