Volunteer Salesforce CRM Specialist (Remote)
The Opportunity Courthouse Dogs Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Salesforce CRM & Email Systems Specialist to help us strengthen and streamline our Salesforce setup. This role will focus on optimizing our Salesforce configuration, supporting our transition from Constant Contact to Salesforce‑based email communications, and helping establish sustainable processes for ongoing CRM maintenance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who: • * Enjoys improving systems and workflows behind the scenes • Wants hands‑on experience with a real nonprofit Salesforce instance • Cares about helping mission‑driven teams work more efficiently and effectively You’ll collaborate closely with staff to improve how we track relationships, communicate with our community, and use data to support our mission. What You’ll Do Depending on your skills and interests, you may help with: • * Reviewing and refining our current Salesforce configuration • Supporting the transition from Constant Contact to Salesforce for email communications • Set-up work to support a future membership program • Setting up or optimizing: • Contacts, accounts, and related records • Lists, reports, and basic dashboards • Email templates, lists, and send processes in Salesforce • Improving workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual work • Helping document processes and simple “how‑to” guidance for staff • Providing light ongoing Salesforce maintenance and support during the project period and ongoing (if interested) This role focuses on practical, real‑world Salesforce use rather than advanced engineering or heavy customization. What We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you have: • * Experience using Salesforce (administrator, power user, consultant, or nonprofit admin experience) • Familiarity with Salesforce email tools, marketing workflows, or CRM‑based communications • Comfort translating staff needs into practical system improvements • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a small team • Interest in nonprofit or mission‑driven work Salesforce Admin certification is welcome but not required. Volunteers with developing or intermediate skills are encouraged to apply.
