Your Impact at Lowe's As a Receiver/Stocker, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our stores are clean and presentable, and that our merchandise is accurately received and replenished. You'll work closely with our team to safely unload merchandise from incoming freight, move it to the sales floor, and stock shelves. This role is physically demanding, but with proper training and equipment, you'll be able to succeed and make a significant impact on our customers. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Stocking Merchandise: Ensure products are accurately received, stocked, and replenished. Safety and Organization: Follow proper lifting guidelines to safely stock products on shelves, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. Customer Service: Engage customers, vendors, and associates with a positive attitude, and be prepared to answer customer questions and assist in handling merchandise. Safety and Security: Remain vigilant and report any safety or security concerns around the store. Teamwork: Complete other duties as assigned, and work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Basic Skills: Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Physical Demands: Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods, and minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift Experience: Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment. Warehouse Experience: Experience in a warehouse environment performing inventory handling and stocking.
