1KOMMA5° We are looking for a Working Student in Data Engineering to join our Heartbeat Tech team in Berlin, Hamburg, or Munich. 1KOMMA5° is creating Germany’s largest one-stop-shop for the sale, installation, and servicing of solar panels, heat pumps, electricity solutions, and charging infrastructure. Deine Position Join our Heartbeat Tech team and help shape the data backbone supporting the digital experience of thousands of end customers using our energy management app. As a Working Student in Data Engineering, you will support the Energy Data team in building robust data flows and pipelines that enable users to track, understand, and optimize their home energy systems. Product Analytics: create dashboards and reports for monitoring of our Heartbeat app Analyze Measurements and Systems: Dive deep into measurements, pricing, and system data to calculate meaningful and transparent insights. Ensure Data Quality: Write audit SQL queries to maintain and establish high data quality standards across our systems. Data Ownership: Support the team in taking ownership of data flows across our systems, ensuring reliability and performance for the Heartbeat App. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and developers to deliver data-driven solutions and address critical business questions. Dein Profil The successful candidate will have: You are currently enrolled at a university and can work up to 20 hours per week. You are studying a relevant subject (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar). Essential Technical Skills: Proven experience writing SQL queries and Analytics Tools. Team Fit: You have a strong team-oriented mindset, enjoy working in agile environments, and value close collaboration with your teammates. You are confident in English (our company language); German is a plus. You work proactively, are curious to learn, and bring a hands-on mindset to tackle complex challenges. Bonus Points For: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Cloud Run, CloudSQL, BigQuery). Experience with monitoring and deployment tools like Datadog, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
