To further this goal, we're seeking an exceptional AI Software Engineer to join our Development team in Alaska, USA, on a full-time basis, with the flexibility to work remotely. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of experts and cross-functionally with our partners to identify and define business problems suitable for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions. Develop strategies around the frameworks, technologies, and infrastructure our team should utilize in our proof-of-concepts and pilots for AI/ML solutions. Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes that can be used to demonstrate the impact of AI/ML in Delta's various business units. Develop a suite of reusable models/solutions for rapid prototyping and foster an AI-first mindset across the organization. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide AI/ML-driven solutions that meet those needs. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply that knowledge to drive innovation within Delta. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Essential Qualifications: 3-4 years of work/educational experience in AI and Machine Learning. Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, or R. Significant experience with Python for software development and knowledge of best practices for software development in Python. Experience with at least one of the following: Natural Language Processing, sentiment analysis, clustering, pattern recognition. Development experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Microsoft CNTK, scikit, Keras, Caffe, Gluon, Light, SageMaker, Azure AI. Experience with basic Web UI and API development. High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the aviation, aeronautics, or aircraft industry. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
