As a Ramp Agent, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ground activities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly and courteous service to internal and external Customers, maintaining positive relationships. Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the success of our Organization. Load, unload, service, guide, and direct Company Aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Handle and record Customer baggage, aircraft cargo, mail, and company materials as required. Perform various tasks associated with loading, stashing, and unloading baggage, freight, airmail, aircraft cargo, stabilizer, and company materials according to a predetermined plan. Transport baggage and freight to and from aircraft, maintaining accurate records. Warehouse, gauge, stack, receive, and deliver air freight, checking against accompanying documents to identify discrepancies. Protect Customers' baggage, air freight, air mail, and COMAT from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction. Perform inside aircraft cabin cleaning manually, including vacuuming upholstery, cleaning windows, galleys, and lavatories. Clean and service lavatories, operating lavatory trucks and disposing of contents according to established procedures. May perform duties of a Provisioning Specialist, including loading aircraft cabin interiors with equipment and supplies. Operate and/or drive mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, baggage trucks, lavatory trucks, and de-icers. Work near and between passenger terminals, shelters, and airfreight facilities, both inside and outside. Complete forms and paperwork associated with work tasks, entering data into the Organization's information system as required. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (no specific major required). Valid state engine vehicle operator's permit. Ability to obtain a SIDA identification and meet all local airport requirements. U.S. citizenship or current approval to work in the U.S. At least 18 years old. Ability to work shift work and/or overtime. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a related field, such as ground operations or customer service. Knowledge of airline operations and procedures. Ability to lift and move items of 70 pounds and favor on a regular basis. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Skills and Competencies: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
