About the Role We are seeking a full-time Asbestos Litigation Attorney to join our Chicago team. This is a junior to mid-level role, ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of asbestos litigation experience. Experience in general personal injury litigation alone is not sufficient for this role — prior asbestos litigation experience is required. You Will: · Manage all aspects of asbestos-related cases, from initial client consultations to trial, under the guidance of senior attorneys. · Conduct depositions, manage discovery, draft motions, and appear in court. · Collaborate with experts in fields such as occupational health, toxicology, and geology to analyze and present compelling evidence. · Assist in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, insurers, and other stakeholders. · Stay updated on the latest developments in asbestos-related law, scientific research, and industry trends to provide the best legal counsel possible. · Meet with clients to gather information about their asbestos/talc exposure history. You Have: · Juris Doctor from an accredited law school · Licensed in the State of Illinois · 2–5 years of asbestos litigation experience (mandatory). · Experience with Odyssey E-Filing and/or File&Serve Illinois · Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively. · Deposition and Trial experience is a plus Our Benefits: · Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans · Paid Time Off · Commuter Transit Program · Retirement Plan Salary Range: $120k - $150k The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
