Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and caring Assistant Teacher for Toddler Classroom to join our team at Little Tree Education. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with our Lead Teachers to create a engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages children to grow and develop. Key Responsibilities Assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing engaging and interactive lessons that promote learning and development. Support children in their daily activities, including snack and lunch preparation and clean-up. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education. Assist with classroom management and support Lead Teachers in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment. Requirements & Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education or related field preferred. Experience working with children aged three to six; Montessori experience a plus. Nurturing and kind demeanor with a heart for children. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Early childhood education certification or training. Experience with classroom management and lesson planning. Familiarity with Montessori principles and practices. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn our curriculum management system.
