Responsibilities • Applies theoretical and practical knowledge of human resources subject matter to perform routine professional level analytical and consultative work in classification, compensation, and a variety of human resources competency areas. • Learns to inform assigned project manager of issues and asks relevant questions; anticipates project needs and contributes to the overall quality of project deliverables. • Conducts research and statistical analyses; gathers complete and accurate information through questioning and by checking multiple sources. • Assists with compiling, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data for projects and reports; utilizes findings to formulate defensible recommendations. • Prepares high quality deliverables such as class descriptions and data spreadsheets that are relevant, concise, consistent, thorough, and adhere to established standards. • Ensures work products/client deliverables are well-organized, thorough, accurate, complete, and in a client ready format. • Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own workload; coordinates project activities with others. • Communicates with internal and external clients to provide information, project status, or other routine information requiring some interpretation, as assigned. • Learns about project lifecycle including project scope, project timetables, project budgets and timeline; learns to work within assigned project parameters. • Performs related duties as required. Requirements • Three (3) years of professional level analytical and/or consultative experience in support of human resources functions, with a concentration in classification and/or compensation. • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of human resources with a concentration in classification and compensation. • Knowledge of research methodology and statistical methods, analyses, and concepts. • Ability to compile, interpret, and apply qualitative and quantitative data. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; independently prioritize, plan, organize, and complete work assignments. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, using appropriate English grammar and syntax.
