Job Summary As Associate Director, Marketing Communications, you'll lead a team of skilled marketing communications professionals in developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns aimed at growing our post-paid mobile base. You'll work closely with internal and external teams to establish acquisition strategies, develop creative briefs, and optimize campaign performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow a team of highly motivated, skilled, and professional individuals Develop end-to-end promotional campaigns, including ideation, communications strategies, execution strategy, customer journey mapping, and campaign analysis Interface with internal teams to establish acquisition strategies, targeting, and tactical marketing plans Develop effective creative briefs that guide agencies in creating award-winning and effective creative Analyze campaign performance and optimize programs to drive higher growth Package strategies and results into professional presentations for communication to peers, superiors, and executive levels of the organization Manage critical advertising agencies and list vendors, including briefing, budget, timelines, and execution Partner with internal and external teams to drive effective strategies, manage timelines, and budgets Develop test strategies and measure and monitor performance, making strategic recommendations to improve creative and program performance Requirements Essential Qualifications Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training Experience leading a team of skilled professionals Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking, prioritization, and negotiating expectations Preferred Qualifications Experience in a range of marketing tactics, including email, text, push direct mail, digital, social, bill media, traditional and digital mediums Experience managing or working at an advertising agency Excellent storytelling and presentations skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to think strategically and creatively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Verizon, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
