The California Franchise Tax Board is committed to providing services and information to help taxpayers file accurate and timely tax returns. They are seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to plan and coordinate events while managing audio-visual equipment and creating promotional materials. This role involves working with a diverse team to support enterprise activities and initiatives. Responsibilities Event planning for internal and external events in our Goldberg Auditorium and Golden State Conference rooms Scheduling, communication, coordination, setup, and operation of audio-visual equipment Creating video and communication products to help promote internal and external Franchise Tax Board's (FTB) programs and services Creating marketing campaigns, graphic design assignments, and photography services Setting up and running a variety of audio-visual equipment to capture and support enterprise activities and initiatives Skills Experience working with customers to plan events that create a great participant experience Experience operating professional level audio-visual equipment at large events Experience working with complex audio-visual connections with Hybrid Meeting environments such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, WebEx, Zoom, etc Experience in photography- including professional camera equipment, lighting, and post-production editing Experience in videography- including professional camera equipment, lighting, microphones, teleprompters, and post-production editing Knowledge of audio-visual terminology and equipment Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently Experience working with professional design software, like Photoshop and InDesign Experience working with professional creative software including Adobe Design software, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, etc Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities based on customer needs Experience in written communication such as scripts, articles, outlines, marketing plans, etc Experience in designing, creating and producing various forms of media including video, audio and marketing material Benefits Extensive training Mentoring Development Upward mobility programs Telework opportunities Adjustable schedules Flexibility in most career paths Company Overview The Franchise Tax Board is responsible for administering two of California's major tax programs: personal income tax and corporation tax.
