Autodesk Access – Associate Software Engineer
Autodesk is looking for a talented Associate Software Engineer to join their growing Access team, leading the User Management and Administration capabilities that support all Autodesk customers. The role involves developing and enhancing cloud-based micro-services and frontends to ensure a seamless user experience for their customers. Responsibilities Design and build scalable and resilient customer-facing applications using React and Node.js Build and maintain resilient micro-services and APIs on AWS Cloud Work in a CI/CD Cloud environment, considering the implementation of functionality through several distributed components and services Write high-quality code, adhering to coding, security and testing best practices to ensure that software is stable and reliable Assist in the operation of our production systems (on-call support, deployments, troubleshooting) Collaborate effectively inside and outside the team. You enjoy working closely with others, learning from colleagues and contributing to the team by sharing knowledge and following best practices and high technical standards Skills BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Experience with JavaScript based programming languages like Node.js and React Experience with designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL) Experience working with relational databases and/or NoSQL (MySQL, DynamoDB) Understanding of the value of testing to deliver high-quality code and hands-on experience writing unit, integration, and system tests (Jest, Mocha, Catchpoint) Broad knowledge of AWS cloud services, serverless programming and cloud architectures Familiar with continuous integration/delivery, and modern development practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, EC2) Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis) Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace) Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate in an agile/scrum-team oriented environment Interest in working with geographically diverse teams – we have peers in the US, South America, Europe and Asia Benefits Annual cash bonuses Commissions for sales roles Stock grants Comprehensive benefits package Company Overview Autodesk develops 3D design software for use in the architecture, engineering, construction, and media industries.
