As a Behavior Technician, you'll play a vital role in implementing ABA therapy programs, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and families to help individuals with autism achieve their goals. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans Working collaboratively with BCBAs to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Being responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Maintaining professionalism and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions Growth Opportunities: At Key Autism Services, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members. As a Behavior Technician, you'll have access to: University Partnerships and tuition discounts Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring opportunities for aspiring BCBAs Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Assistance Requirements: To be successful as a Behavior Technician at Key Autism Services, you'll need: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting 1 year of ABA experience (or 1-2 years of experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Physical Requirements: As a Behavior Technician, you'll need to: Be able to lift up to 35lbs Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children Work in both indoor and outdoor settings What We Offer: At Key Autism Services, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that empowers our team members to thrive.
