Book Publicity & Media Campaign Manager
Help launch a major book release with national TV, podcast, and viral media coverage. We're looking for a rockstar Book Publicist / Media Campaign Manager to help promote Teach to Sell: Why Top Performers Never Sell – And What They Do Instead, a major release published by Post Hill Press and distributed by Simon & Schuster (Feb 2026). This book is written by Dan Rochon — a nationally recognized speaker, coach, and media personality. Your job is to make this book famous. That means building buzz across the U.S. and English-speaking countries through TV, radio, podcasts, print, digital, and social media. This is a campaign-style role with strong project management needs and a bias for action. This is a high-performance, execution-first position with the potential to become full-time. We’re moving fast. RESPONSIBILITIES - Media Booking & Outreach - Get Dan booked on national/local TV shows, radio stations, and print outlets - Use HARO and other platforms to submit 3+ articles per week to secure press coverage - Secure 3+ podcast appearances weekly - Identify and pitch book reviewers, journalists, influencers, and editors - Submit the book for awards, book fairs, and TEDx speaking opportunities Digital Marketing & Promotion - Launch and manage LinkedIn messaging campaigns - Run weekly social media campaigns (3 posts + 1 email per week) - Create and promote the “Teach to Sell in 60 Seconds” viral video series - Build, schedule, and promote over 50 micro-lessons (such as reels, images, carousels, etc.) - Promote the pre-order link in every asset to drive traffic and boost SEO Campaign Coordination - Create and activate a Launch Team/Street Team with appreciation touchpoints - Coordinate with publishing team (Post Hill Press) and marketing firm (2MarketMedia) - Identify book clubs, universities, radio/TV stations, and influencers - Organize the distribution of signed books to A-list contacts, reviewers, and institutions - Help hire and oversee a project manager and additional freelancers as needed - Build a Wikipedia page, coordinate a book trailer, and manage launch assets REQUIREMENTS - Proven experience booking guests on TV, radio, or podcasts - Strong understanding of publicity, PR, and launch strategy - Excellent writing, communication, and LinkedIn/email outreach skills - Capable of self-management and high-volume execution in a fast-moving campaign Bonus: knowledge of NLP, behavioral science, sales, or business audiences DETAILS - Start Date: ASAP - Location: Remote • Compensation: Based on experience + performance incentives available Apply tot his job
