Business coach for early stage directions
I’m looking for a high-level business strategy coach to help me decide the direction of my the business I want to create . I’m not hiring someone to “do marketing” or execute tasks for me. I want a coach who will guide my thinking, structure decisions, challenge assumptions, and keep me accountable as I build the foundation. What I need help with (priority outcomes) • Clarify the problem space and choose a focused business direction • Identify the best customer segment to target (ICP) and why • Define a clear value proposition and positioning (strategy-level, not visuals) • Decide the best business model to start with (service/product/hybrid) • Design an initial offer: scope, pricing hypothesis, delivery approach • Validation plan: interviews, hypothesis tests, MVP definition, early traction • Roadmap: 30/60/90 day execution plan with measurable milestones • Accountability: weekly goals, decision log, progress review, removing blockers What I’m not looking for • Branding/graphic design, social media • Generic motivational coaching How we’ll work • Action-oriented: every call ends with clear deliverables for the week • You review my thinking/documents (hypotheses, customer notes, offer drafts) and give direct feedback • Optional async support for quick decisions during the week (chat/voice notes) Ideal coach profile • Strong track record coaching early-stage founders or technical professionals • Comfortable with ambiguity and can drive clarity fast • Evidence-based approach: hypothesis-driven, customer discovery, lean validation • Direct communicator who challenges me and holds me accountable • Bonus: experience in B2B / tech / engineering-driven businesses Please include in your proposal 1.
