As a Business & Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our business intelligence capabilities, working closely with stakeholders across multiple product lines to gather requirements, develop reports, and analyze data to inform business strategies. Key Responsibilities Independently work with all levels of management and across multiple product lines to determine reporting/project requirements and resolve technical issues with reporting tools and functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business requirements for reporting deliverables and processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business and data requirements, functional reporting specifications, use cases, and process flows to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and reporting development teams. Utilize data analysis techniques and tools to analyze gathered data requirements, identifying patterns, trends, and inconsistencies that inform business decisions. Manage and maintain the Data Dictionary for Snowflake, ensuring it remains up-to-date with new fields and changes introduced from system projects. Identify business problems, challenges, and opportunities through data analysis in Snowflake, documenting and reporting findings in Jira tickets to propose innovative solutions or process improvements. Collect, structure, interpret, and extract complex data into actionable insights using SQL skills, driving business growth and improvement. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a Business or technical discipline, or commensurate work experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract data from system application data tables. Knowledge of Snowflake is preferred, but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Share Point). Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Microsoft Sql Server Management Studio, Datadog, Snowflake). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, with flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Financial industry experience, which will be considered an added advantage. A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
