Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in generating and qualifying leads to drive new business opportunities, engaging in high-volume outreach to prospects and ensuring successful handoffs to the sales team. Responsibilities Partner with AE’s, SAE’s, and RDs to identify and research key decision-makers and target accounts Utilize tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and other resources to gather insights on prospects’ areas of interest, key initiatives, and pain points Document all prospect information in HubSpot for personalized outreach and for use by the sales team in future engagements Conduct targeted outbound outreach via emails, calls, and LinkedIn to connect with and engage potential leads HubSupport sales campaigns by reaching out to prospects generated from conferences and marketing efforts Create and execute cold outreach strategies tailored to individual prospects Apply a structured qualification framework (e.g. BANT – Budget, Authority/Decision Making Process, Need, and Timeline) to assess lead potential and ensure only high-quality prospects are passed on to the sales team Track and document all activities, including prospect interactions and qualification status, within HubSpot Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Findhelp’s platform as a solution to address their challenges and improve outcomes Use consistent follow-up strategies to maintain engagement with prospects over time Schedule qualified meetings, product demos, and Findhelp overview sessions for AEs, SAEs, and Regional Directors Provide clear documentation of all interactions, including relevant prospect context, contact, and discussion history, to ensure a seamless handoff Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads and activities in HubSpot, ensuring no prospects fall through the cracks Track activities like calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, and opportunities created Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points Share valuable insights with sales and marketing teams to refine targeting, messaging, and product positioning Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align on campaigns, messaging, and outreach strategies Ensure smooth lead transition and follow-up in coordination with other sales team members Consistently meet or exceed performance targets, including lead generation, meetings booked, and opportunities created Develop a deep understanding of the Findhelp platform, buyer personas, and our target market Engage in ongoing personal development to stay current with best practices in sales development and prospecting Skills BA/BS degree or similar college level education; in lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas Experience with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and lead qualification Strong communication and relationship-building skills 1 - 3 years of selling in a SaaS environment preferred Benefits 401k & Stock options Free food and onsite gym at our Austin HQ Paid parental leave Competitive PTO & 9 paid holidays Employee only paid Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Dog-friendly office in Austin HQ 24/7 access to telemedicine and counseling Book Purchasing Program Culture Committee Leadership Development Training Paid Volunteering Time Company Overview findhelp is a technology for connecting people to social care, findhelp seamlessly operates with existing systems.
