Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers' baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time. Your daily tasks will include: Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, as well as guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions to ensure timely connections. Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions. Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure that baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Work Schedule and Environment As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you can expect to work a variety of shifts, including early morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, based on operational needs. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. A valid driver's license. Proficiency in English. The ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
