As a Business Operations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to display your skills while working on business operations software by interpreting business and customer requirements into feasible options as well as performing ad hoc analysis, and assisting with research and software development projects. You will bring rigor and quality, increasing efficiency, and improving operations and customer outcomes. In addition to providing valuable insight into our operations software and customer needs and verifying these findings, you will be an important member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary operations project team of subject matter experts and clinical specialists working to meet client requirements. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be involved in all stages of the operations lifecycle and continuously act as a liaison between the customer and the project team. You will produce project requirements and other required material to keep everybody on the same page by understanding stakeholders' vision and communicating it to all involved in the project to improve the quality of the business operations. Business Operations Analyst Responsibilities Remote * Leads the requirements management efforts for large projects; devises and executes a requirements management plan for assigned projects; and takes ownership of the business analysis role throughout the project. * Works with project managers, project requestors, operations, business representatives, IT representatives, and clients to ensure complete understanding of software requirements; reviews software requirements work of other team members to ensure alignment to requirements management governances for the requirements management discipline. * Produces project requirements documentation including written documents, process diagrams, report mock-ups, wireframes, and other documentation as required, using standard templates. * Provides business-related IT knowledge to clients and business representatives during the requirements management process. * Completes client data conversions by working with vendors within expected timeframes set by Implementation. * Prepares reports using various system programs and coordinates with other departments. * Maintains and verifies client parameters in the claims management system and researches issues to resolution. * Identifies required resources; researches strategic project data, procedures, and history for a thorough understanding of project direction and ROI. * Generates and analyzes statistical data reports; tracks the process of the project through completion. * Ensures effective deployment of strategic project plans. * Ensures the process/procedural changes are developed and communicated to field offices, IT, Legal, and other applicable business units in regard to regulatory requirements and changes. Remote Business Operations Analyst Qualifications * BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university is preferred * Six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements is strongly preferred * Extremely organized with strong project and time-management skills. * Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational and analytical skills. * Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. * Ability to effectively present information. * Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
