CANES DevSecOps Infrastructure-as-Code Architect
Zachary Piper is seeking a CANES DevSecOps / Infrastructure-as-Code Architect to lead the design and automation of next-generation CANES afloat networks. This role combines deep CANES domain expertise with hands-on development in Ansible, Terraform, and Python, delivering secure, repeatable, and Navy-aligned CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities: • Architect CANES network and platform configurations as code • Build Navy-aligned CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, automated testing, compliance gates) • Implement Zero Trust principles and compliance-as-code (STIG, RMF) • Collaborate across cybersecurity, platform, and application teams • Mentor engineering and fleet sustainment teams Required Qualifications: • Active DoD Secret clearance • 8+ years in network/platform engineering; 3–5+ years IaC automation • Direct CANES experience and Navy CI/CD delivery • Strong skills in Ansible, Git, Python, and network automation Preferred Qualifications: • Navy PMW delivery experience • Certifications: Cisco DevNet, CCNP/CCIE, RHCE/Ansible, CKA/CKAD • Familiarity with GitLab/Jenkins, PKI/CAC, Zero Trust segmentation Apply now to help shape the future of Navy afloat networks.
