Your role as ​an Intern​ in the ​Sensors Solutions​ Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: • TES is seeking a Product Pricing Analyst Intern who would assist both Product Management and Pricing leadership in the review of product strategy, margin challenged product and underlying data integrity issues. Other potential areas covered by Product Pricing Analysts also includes providing price management leadership and product/contract pricing strategy development for assigned global product families and global product lines within the business unit. This includes global market, competitor analysis and price targeting/positioning to improve key financial factors. In addition, analyzing the profit of potential markets, and supporting Product Management in the recommendation of price structures and price levels for new and existing products per assigned global product lines are key objectives of this role. Responsibilities At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll: • Work closely with Product Management to provide analytical support and analysis in making recommendations for price adjustments & changes, product life cycle adjustments, product segmentation and cost inflation • Review low margin products and identify price and margin opportunities to improve customer and global product line profitability. • Support Product Management to identify data integrity issues and how to correct. Job Requirements • You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you: • Have earned a high school diploma or GED • Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a ​BA/BS​ Degree in ​Business Analytics​, ​Business Administration​ or ​Related Major​ from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered). • Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project • Are authorized to work in the U.S. I&D TE Connectivity and its affiliates are equal employment opportunity employers.
