Child and Adolescent Therapist - Diagnostic Evaluator - Hybrid

As a Child and Adolescent Therapist - Diagnostic Evaluator, you will conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations and provide direct care therapy to clients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support families in understanding their child's needs. Responsibilities Conduct Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations: Lead neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations including autism spectrum assessments (ADOS 2, ASRS, CARS), analyze and interpret data, and write detailed evaluation reports that provide families with clear understanding and actionable recommendations. Training provided for interested candidates Provide Direct Care: See direct care therapy clients as part of your clinical responsibilities, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions Provide Compassionate Feedback: Deliver diagnostic feedback to clients and caregivers after evaluations, ensuring they understand findings and feel supported in next steps Collaborate for Integrated Care: Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed. Participate in weekly department and team meetings, sharing client needs with the treatment team and providing feedback and consultation to treatment members Support Access to Services: Provide written requests for outside services (such as applied behavior analysis or medical assistance) as needed. Communicate findings of evaluations to all team members to ensure coordinated care Maintain Clinical Excellence: Complete documentation for evaluations within 24 hours of services. Maintain thorough records and strive for the highest clinical and technical quality in all aspects of your work Manage Your Practice: Manage your schedule including scheduling assessments, feedback appointments, maintaining report writing time, and rescheduling any cancellations or make-up appointments. Report weekly productivity Skills Hold at least a Master's degree in a related field of psychology Active valid Pennsylvania license as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, which includes maintaining all necessary continuing education requirements At least 1 year of experience providing clinical diagnosis (using DSM5-TR or DC0-5) evaluations Direct experience providing services to children and/or adolescents Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleagues Consistently reliable internet access for any telehealth provisions Trained and certified to administer the ADOS 2 assessment preferred but not required Potential for some evenings and/or weekends based on client need Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401K (with a company match) Employer-paid life insurance coverage Professional liability insurance covered Generous paid time off Opportunities for career growth Company Overview Blackbird Health is a mental health clinic that supports children and young adults facing social, developmental, and academic difficulties.
