ROLE DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise during the sales process for Ultrasound. to internal and external customers. Work closely with assigned Sales Representatives, Dealers, and Channel Sales Manager to support the growth and needs of the business. Experience supporting Radiology Commercial Market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned • •Deliver clinical and technical instruction during the ultrasound sales cycle and post-sale process to internal and external customers, including on-site visits with physicians and sonographers • •Conduct professional ultrasound product demonstrations and post-installation training to customers’ clinical staff • •Provide clinical and technical support at trade shows and professional conferences • •Collaborate with the product management and service teams to report on and improve product performance through field feedback • •Support the sales and service teams with clinical expertise and customer engagement • •Monitor customer satisfaction post-installation • •Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive, patient, customer-focused attitude • •Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes • •Complete all required training and stay current on product knowledge, including competitor offerings • •Manage time effectively and make sound business decisions • •Wear a dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices • •Follow travel, expense, and meeting guidelines • •Transport company equipment per company policy • •Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment • •Other duties may be assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • RDMS certification required; must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound • Experience supporting Radiology Commercial Market • RVT required. RDCS certification desired • 6-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in General Imaging, Vascular, Ob/Gyn, Point of Care, and Musculoskeletal is required. Experience with Elastography, Fusion, and CEUS a plus. • Skilled in 2D and Color Doppler across applications • Previous commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist • Strong market knowledge and competitive attitude • Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers • Willing to travel overnight • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory and background and drug testing (pre and post-employment) is required • Budget, expense, and resource management experience required • Must be a results oriented, team player, and people person • Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment • Must have and exhibit excellent presentation skills in small and large group situations • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS • Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear • Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days • Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather) • Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason, strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus COMPETENCIES • High attention to detail • Understanding of terminology and ability to share and communicate effectively within the group • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks resulting in consistent productivity • Ability to function within and support a team environment and build strong working relationships • Dependable and punctual • Ability to meet accuracy and productivity goals • Good problem solving skills, ability to evaluate situation and prioritize factors in decision making • Self-motivated, utilize available resources for self-improvement and development • Flexible: able to follow directives and accomplish tasks outside of normal duties About Boston Imaging Located North of Boston in Danvers, MA, NeuroLogica Corporation, who does business in the Ultrasound and Digital Radiography space as Boston Imaging, is a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics who develops, manufactures and markets innovative medical imaging equipment for healthcare facilities and private practices worldwide.
