CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) – Equity-Only Role

We’re on a mission to become the one-click dorm shopping solution and expand into first apartments, registries, and lifestyle products. We’re seeking a CMO with a proven record of scaling consumer brands. You’ll lead all marketing efforts — growth, community, content, and partnerships — to turn Dormie into the go-to Gen Z shopping platform. Responsibilities • Develop and execute a growth strategy across paid, organic, and partnerships • Lead influencer collaborations, ambassador program, and social trends • Optimize conversion funnel (from awareness → purchase → repeat customer) • Create analytics-driven campaigns for retention & lifetime value growth Requirements • Proven track record of scaling consumer e-commerce, DTC, or Gen Z-focused brands • Past role as CMO, VP of Marketing, or Head of Growth at a startup • Ability to show hard proof of results: • Case studies with real metrics (e.g., “Grew DTC brand from $500k → $10M ARR”) • Press or media features showcasing campaigns you led • References from founders/CEOs you worked with • Scrappy and ready to roll your sleeves up! • Deep knowledge of Gen Z/college market, social-first marketing, and community building Compensation • Equity-only role (vesting structure negotiable) • Chance to lead brand strategy for a venture-backed consumer company Apply tot his job
